A managers and team leaders skills training course

During this course the reasons and purpose behind coaching is discussed, the benefits of effective coaching are explored and where coaching fits in as a development style is introduced.
The instruct, coach, support and delegate styles of personal development are discussed and the situations where each is more appropriate are identified. The skills required to coach effectively are discussed and the GROWTH structure for coaching is introduced with best practice at each stage explained. Following a skills measurement activity a coaching exercise takes place which is then fully reviewed.

The course finishes with delegates reviewing their learning, creating an individual personal development plan and taking a learning evaluation assessment.
