A managers and team leaders skills training course
During this course a definition of motivation is explored and the ways in which you can tell if someone is motivated or not are discussed. The hierarchy of needs model is introduced with each stage being applied directly to the current work environment. A brief review is conducted of the motivation at work model, behavioural styles and personality types.
The ©MOTIVATE model is then introduced, best practice at each stage is discussed and delegates practice creating a ©Team MAP (Motivational Action Plan). This activity is then reviewed by the delegates coaching each other in the content and approach of their plans. A full debrief occurs.
The course finishes with delegates reviewing their learning, creating an individual personal development plan and taking a learning evaluation assessment.
